Main Stats

STR / INT / SPD / LCK all scale damage in different ways.
SPD also impacts turn flow and charge timing.
DEF / MDEF grant resistance plus barrier budget.

Barrier System

Physical and Magic barriers are tracked separately.
Each successful hit removes matching barrier layers.
Status effects are blocked by barriers except Taunt and Charm.

Status Reactions

Elemental statuses can combine into reaction effects.
DOT effects keep ticking while charged actions are winding up.
Turn-skip effects can cancel charging actions immediately.
